ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN [FIVE] - JOURNEY
[2013] POINT, LINE, PLANE, VOLUME - "All pictorial form begins with the point that sets itself in motion... the point moves... and the line comes into being - the first dimension. If the lines shifts to form a plane, we otain a two-dimensional element. In the movement from plane to spaces, the clash of planes gives rise to body [3D]... A summary of the kinetic energies which move the point into a line, the line into a plane, and the plane into a spatial dimension." Paul Klee - The Thinking Eye
AIM - To communicate to the reader, who am I. To express myself in a manner that comes naturally. I will exhibit my work as architecture has come to explain "itself" to me - through models, sketches, graphics, quotes and process.
ME < > ARCHITECTURE
The norm would be to display events together with a timeline. If you ere to try and express a building, an exploded view would best explain it. An exploded view shows the detailed layers, how they connect, communicate, and support one and other.
Foundation - Prior to and continuous through architecture. The most important level in my opinion. "They" have helped me to find whom i might want to be.
ISOMETRIC PROJECTIONS - Objects drawn in isometric do not appear as large or small when they extend closer to or away from the viewer, unlike perspective drawings. It easily becomes difficult to distinguish depth and altitude.
