ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN [FOUR] - MOVEMENT

 

To allow optimum, flowing movement from one side of the site to the other. The walkways curve and immitate the context. The sloped site is made disabled-friendly. It will form the heart of the school and therefore it will increase the existing energy. Walkways next to the building will ‘picture-frame’ the view of the natural mountains.

PARKING _ The northern part and entrance to the site will be allocated for parking.

 

RE-USE _ The Old Assembly hall will be usable as a class room once again. The exisitng bathrooms will be included in the building design. Only the roof will be demolished. The Old lunch room will be also be usable as a class room once again. The bathroom can be accessed sepearately.

 

WHY OUTSIDE SEATING _ Gives a large breathing space between the class rooms and the multi-purpose hall. Allows one to sit outside and view the match on going inside. Joins the existing classroom with the purposed hall.
